My own work has taken many twists and turns. I
started making jewelry over 20 years ago, starting with a silversmithing
class, then adding wire wrap, and finally lampworking. I
continue to take classes to stretch my creative muscles and I try to
incorporate the new techniques I learn in my current work. This past year
I have started working with copper and really enjoy the beauty and
range of this metal. In my lampworking I will continue to use floral
designs in my beads but I also hope to expand my work and start adding
more organic elements to my beads. I hope to start making hand blown ornaments on a regular basis. The challenge of making a hollow
ornament is exciting and I have so many ideas that I would like to
try.
I have recently been bitten by the electroforming
bug and have achieved some nice results. Here is one of my first
finished pieces. Check my Etsy shop from time to time, I will post my
new electroformed work for sale there.
In addition to the ornaments listed on Etsy, I have several blown glass Christmas ornaments listed on
my Ornaments page.
